Focus on the C of EC stacks: Caffeine

Summer vacation is gone and almost forgotten…

Our Health Dream Team had its “start of the school year meeting”, checking the last questions received by email in order to answer together or to assign the tasks if some topics had to be developed.

This was the case for an interesting point raised by many: caffeine, probably due to our last pages about EC stack safe dosage and EC stack standard dosage. Typical questions: “is it safe to take such dosage of caffeine?” or “any side effects for the heart?”

The discussion between us showed that caffeine and coffee in general was a big topic: coffee had been presented as bad for our health for years and then new studies revealed that it might be a true wonder drug, considering the health benefits in diabetes, cancers etc.. Is it good or bad?? Why don’t we have a better medical evidence? Why are experts so ambivalent in their answers?

That’s why we decided to do a complete update on the current medical knowledge about coffee, by sharing the tasks between us:

  • latest studies showing the benefits of a moderate coffee consumption
  • list of the risks at high dosages of caffeine
  • why it is so difficult for experts to take a stand: a few details about the methodology used by these medical studies
  • what effects are due to caffeine and others also valid for decaffeinated coffee
  • weight loss effects of coffee, caffeine, compared to an EC stack

To be honest, some members were a bit reluctant to accept so much workload at this period of the year – I will not give their names ๐Ÿ˜‰ But we thought that it was exactly the core purpose of our site: to give an reliable information about the risks and benefits for your health, we did it for ephedrine, we will also do it for caffeine because it is the second most important alkaloid in our site. You may find minimum information about EC stacks on the web, mostly by people trying to sell products. You may also find a lot of information about coffee and caffeine, but see how much is outdated and not linked to our point of interest. This is why we will cover this topic: if we don’t do it, who will do it? ๐Ÿ˜‰ And this will probably be it for alkaloids: I don’t see us developing on any other known alkaloid, such asย nicotine, morphine or cocaine ๐Ÿ˜‰

The good point is that after a hard work by each team member, we now have a draft article that we will post in two parts because one might be too long.

We hope that you will enjoy it, as it has been a serious challenge for us to go through each medical study (that you will be able to check on your own, thanks to references and links when available) in order to give you an overview of the positive and negative health effects.
